We are no longer registered at Wal-Mart – here’s why:
When we considered registering at Wal-Mart we had no idea that we would have such a bad experience. I personally was not able to make it to Wal-Mart when Jessica and Sam went to register, but they experienced nothing but problems from the start, and it spiraled into a big mess that quickly got out of hand.
Chapter 1 – The Road to Wal-Mart
In the beginning they had a hard time finding the machines at the store to start a registry (not until later did we discover that they are hidden near customer service in one of the corners). So in order to get their hands on a scanner they naturally asked the clerk at the service desk – makes sense right? Well the desk clerk didn’t think so and sent her to the jewelry counter to inquire there. Of course the jewelry counter doesn’t handle gift registries (anymore), that’s normally done through the customer service desk – or more accurately – the machine hidden in the corner near the customer service desk. So they sent her back to customer service as expected, but this time the jewelry clerk went with her. A redeeming quality? I don’t know.
